Two Bluetest HP chamber orders from Japan
Jun 23, 2009
Bluetest has recieved two orders for Bluetest HP chambers in June from our Japanese distributor TOYO. These are our sixth and seventh orders from Japan in little over a year. The Japanese market is usually difficult to break into unless you have a product and distributor of high quality. Seven orders of a product using a new technology, in little over a year, is solid proof that Bluetest has both. Bluetest's last fiscal year resulted in a new sales record and the sales for this fiscal year has started better than last year. In a few years we believe most companies developing/evaluating wireless products with small antennas will use Bluetest´s measurement technology for characterizing their performance, since it is: 1) easy to use, 2) very fast, 3) compact, and 4) cost effective, compared to existing test technologies. In addition, it is the only test technology that can evaluate the performance in a realistic environment with fading, and this unique property enables direct tests of advanced smart antenna functions such as antenna diversity gain and MIMO.
Bluetest signs distribution agreement with GIGACOMP for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria
Jun 10, 2009
“GIGACOMP is one of the leading RF specialists in Central Europe and we are very happy to add GIGACOMP as a Bluetest distributor for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria" says Mats Andersson, CEO of Bluetest AB. "The revolutionary Bluetest technology will give our customers a significant cost and time to market advantage. The performance of wireless devices with small single and/or multiple (MIMO and/or diversity) antennas can be evaluated in minutes in a very compact, cost effective, and easy to use system." says Dr. Bernd Fleischmann, Managing Director of GIGACOMP GmbH. The Bluetest reverberation chamber technology is used to measure the total RF performance of cell phones and other wireless devices. In the past two years the sales of the Bluetest products have accelerated and in a few years we believe most companies working with products using small antennas will use this technology. The capabilities offered by the Bluetest technology include extremely fast measurements of total radiated power (TRP) and total isotropic sensitivity (TIS). Additionally, the Bluetest chambers are the only commercially available test chambers that allow direct very fast passive and active testing of antenna diversity gain and MIMO capacity, both of which are key technologies for new (e.g. HSPA, 802.11n) and future (WiMAX, LTE) wireless broadband systems. To support the sales and aftersales worldwide Bluetest has since 2007 signed distribution agreements for Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, ASEAN, North America, Italy, United Kingdom, India and now also for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. For the rest of the world Bluetest handles the sales and aftersales.
New sales record for Bluetest 2008/2009
May 8, 2009
Bluetest sales are accelerating despite the economic turmoil on the world markets. The turnover for the fiscal year May 2008 - April 2009 has increased by 177% compared to the previous year and by about 450% compared to two years ago. An important factor for the increased sales worldwide is that Bluetest has since 2007 signed distribution agreements for Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, ASEAN, North America, Italy, United Kingdom and India. We expect the sales to continue to increase as the distributors are expanding their marketing efforts of the Bluetest products. During 2009 we plan to add new distributors in Europe and South America.
Bluetest HP chamber order to MI Technologies
Mar 30, 2009
Bluetest's US distributor MI Technologies recieved today a Bluetest HP chamber order from a large US based wireless company. This is MI Technologies first Bluetest order in the US and it will be Bluetest chamber no. 8 to be installed in North-America. The interest in the Bluetest reverberation chamber technology has accelerated during the last year as more and more companies have become aware of the significant cost and time savings that can be made in using this technology for extremely fast OTA measurements of devices with small single or multiple antenna configurations. Bluetest's customers comprise 8 of the world's large mobile phone manufacturers, many developers of small antennas/laptops/wireless modules, 3 of the world´s largest operators, 5 universities, 3 test institutes, and many other wireless companies. The customers can be found in Asia, Europe, North and South America.
MSI orders Bluetest chamber no. 33
Jan 8, 2009
Bluetest´s Taiwanese distributor QuieTek has recieved an order for a Bluetest High Performance (HP) chamber from Micro-Star International (MSI) in Taiwan. David Cheng, Sales Manager at QuieTek says "- QuieTek and Bluetest are very happy that MSI selected the Bluetest HP chamber instead of a test chamber using anechoic chamber technology. One of the key reasons is the possibility of very fast measurements of wireless devices with a size of up to 0.8m in the relatively small Bluetest HP chamber". The Bluetest chambers are the only commercially available reverberation chambers with software for measuring antenna efficiency, TIS (Total Isotropic Sensitivity), TRP (Total Radiated Power), antenna diversity gain and MIMO capacity of wireless devices with small antennas, e.g. mobile phones, laptops, USB modems, Bluetooth devices, etc. Antenna efficiency, TRP/channel, antenna diversity gain and MIMO capacity can be measured in only one minute. TIS for GSM and WCDMA in about 10 minutes/channel. Bluetest has among its customers 8 of the world's large mobile phone manufacturers, many developers of small antennas/laptops/wireless modules, 2 of the world´s largest operators, 5 universities, 2 test institutes, and some other wireless companies. The customers can be found in Asia, Europe, North and South America.
